1. A summary of the contract
The photographer is responsible for providing the client a photographic service and products as detailed in section 2 (coverage). The client undertakes to engage the photographer for this coverage for the price as detailed in section 3 (payment arrangements).

Coverage begins at the agreed time and is limited to a maximum of 18hours attendance. Attended time may also include breaks and travel between venues. Additional hours are by agreement at the time of booking and at the sole discretion of Rebecca Rodney. Charges of £50 an hour will apply for any service provided outside of the stated coverage times.

The client will pay the photographer a total fee of £________________ subject to the following terms:
A £250 deposit to secure the date and payable on execution of this agreement. This deposit is non-refundable or transferable in the event of a cancellation, it being the agreed loss suffered by the photographer due to cancellation.
Payment of the balance of £_______________ no later than one month before the date of the wedding (__________________).
Cancellation less than 12 weeks before the wedding will require payment in full. All cancellations must be in writing. The cancellation conditions above will apply for postponed weddings if the photographer is not able to re-schedule for the new date and time. The fee for postponed weddings is subject to change.
Any additional payments for albums and other services are to be made when that order is placed. Prices for orders placed over one year after the wedding may be subject to change.
4. Copyright
The 1998 Copyright, Designs, and Patents Act assigns copyright to Rebecca Rodney. You may not copy the photographs taken under this contract, or allow copies to be made photographically, electronically or by any other means, unless permission is granted in writing by Rebeca Rodney. A copyright licence is granted for the images provided in high resolution for personal use only; should use of images on social media be required please use the watermarked images provided as part of the package. Images taken by Rebecca Rodney ensure she retains the right in all cases to use the photographs in any manner in any part of the world for the purpose of advertising or otherwise promoting her work. If you do not wish for your photographs to appear on Rebecca Rodney’s social media, blog or website please notify Rebecca Rodney at the time of booking.
5. Exclusivity
Rebecca Rodney Photography should be the sole professional photographer at the venues specified. I do however positively encourage family, friends and other guests to take photographs throughout the day.
6. Creative Licence
Rebecca Rodney photography will be granted creative and artistic licence in relation to the choice of locations and poses used. Due to changes of weather and the availability and willingness of subjects Rebecca Rodney will do her best to honour requested photographs, but do not guarantee any specific picture nor incorporate any specific background, location or group arrangement. The number of images supplied will be a minimum of 150, the actual number provided will be carefully considered by Rebecca Rodney. Only images which meet the creative standard will be supplied, all other images will be deleted from the systems and not stored.
7. Image size, colour, style and composition
All image sizes are approximate. The photographer will provide a pleasing colour balance but cannot guarantee exact colour matching. It is sometimes not possible to record digitally or in print what the human eye can see. There is no right to reject on the basis of style or composition.
8. Viewing and alterations
Final images are to be supplied in a 3-6-week period following the wedding ceremony. A viewing will be arranged to select album images and order any additional prints/products. Images will also be available to view online in a private gallery.
9. Album design
As part of the package initial album design and layout is completed by Rebecca Rodney, you will be allowed to preview this design and suggest any changes.
10. Attendance
In the unlikely event of Rebecca Rodney being unable to complete the coverage due to unforeseen circumstances, the photographer reserves the right to appoint another photographer to attend on her behalf to undertake the photography.
11. Indemnity
The photographer agrees to indemnify the client against all expenses, damages, claims and legal costs arising out of any failure by the photographer to obtain any clearance for which he was responsible in respect of third party copyright works, trademarks, designs or other intellectual property. The photographer shall only be responsible for obtaining such clearance if this has been expressly agreed before the day of the wedding. In all other cases the client shall be responsible for obtaining such clearances and indemnify the photographer against all expenses, damages, claims and legal costs arising out of any failure to obtain such clearances.
12. Limitation of liability
In the unlikely event a total photographic failure or cancellation of this contract by either party or in any other circumstances, the liability of one party to the other shall be limited to the total value of the contract. Neither party shall be liable for indirect or consequential loss.
The undersigned have read and understood the above contract and agree to the terms and conditions in their entirety.
13. Complaints procedure
Any complaints should be made in writing to Rebecca Rodney within 4 weeks of the images being supplied. I will endeavour to respond to any complaints within 48hours.
14. Privacy
Rebecca Rodney will store your details on a private database, these details will not be shared or made available to anyone outside of Rebecca Rodney Photography.
I have read and fully understand the schedule and terms of agreement outlined in this contract and realise this contract becomes effective immediately.
